Ingredients
  

  • 3 large overripe bananas mashed
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • cups self-rising flour

Optional Add-ins (customizable):

  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas until mostly smooth.
  • Add the eggs and whisk until fully combined with the bananas.
  • Stir in the brown sugar until evenly mixed.
  • Gradually fold in the self-rising flour until just combined—avoid overmixing.
  • If using, gently fold in any optional add-ins.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 50–55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
