Description

A refreshing and easy fruit salad perfect for hot summer days, featuring juicy watermelon, berries, and a delicious honey lime dressing.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 4 cups Seedless watermelon, cubed (Choose a ripe watermelon.)
  • 1 cup Strawberries, sliced (Fresh strawberries add sweetness.)
  • 1 cup Blueberries (Provide juicy bursts.)
  • 1 cup Raspberries (Add tartness.)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh mint (Optional, but recommended for flavor.)

Honey Lime Dressing

  • 1/4 cup Honey (Adjust to taste.)
  • 2 tablespoons Lime zest (For added brightness.)
  • 1/4 cup Lime juice (Freshly squeezed is best.)
  • a pinch none Salt (Enhances flavors.)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Cube the watermelon into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Slice strawberries and rinse the blueberries and raspberries, patting them dry.
  3. Add all the fruit to a large bowl.
  4. In a small bowl or jar, whisk together honey, lime juice, lime zest, and a pinch of salt to make the dressing.
  5. Drizzle the dressing over the fruit and toss gently.
  6. If using mint, tear it with your fingers and add it to the salad.
  7. Chill the salad in the fridge for 15-20 minutes if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within 24 hours for best freshness. Consider drying berries to avoid diluted dressing.
