Description

These Viral Big Mac Tacos are an easy and fun twist on traditional tacos, featuring crispy beef, melty cheese, and a special sauce that brings the classic burger flavors to life.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef (80/20) (Recommended for flavor)
  • 8 small Flour tortillas (street taco size) (Works best for this recipe)
  • 8 slices American cheese (Classic melt and burger taste)
  • 2 cups Shredded lettuce (Freshly cut preferred)
  • 1 cup Dill pickle chips (Or chopped pickles)
  • 1 cup Finely diced onion (White onion feels most classic)
  • to taste Salt and black pepper (For seasoning)
  • optional Sesame seeds (For sprinkling, if desired)

Special Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Mayo
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika (Optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Mix the special sauce ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate while cooking.
  2. Press a thin layer of ground beef over one side of each tortilla, close to the edges. Season with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  1. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat and place the tortilla beef side down.
  2. Press the tortilla with a spatula until the beef is browned and crispy. Flip to warm the tortilla side until golden.
  3. Add a slice of American cheese on the beef side to melt.
  4. Remove from heat and top with lettuce, pickles, onion, and a drizzle of special sauce. Fold and serve.

Notes

Keep toppings and sauce cold until serving to avoid sogginess. Use medium-high heat for a good sear.
