- 2 large Potatoes
- 1 large Swede
Seasoning and Fats
- 1 pinch Black pepper
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 tbsp Butter (Good quality butter recommended for best flavor.)
Instructions
Preparation
- Peel and chop the potatoes and swede into even-sized pieces.
- Boil the potatoes and swede in salted water until tender, about 20 minutes.
- Drain the vegetables and return them to the pot.
- Add butter, black pepper, and salt to taste, then mash until creamy.
- Serve hot as a side dish.
Notes
Cool leftovers at room temperature for no more than two hours before refrigerating. It can be reheated gently with a splash of milk or water to loosen.
