- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, fresh, firm, and bright green
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1-2 tablespoons sriracha
- 2 cloves garlic, fresh minced or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or lime juice
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari)
- Optional: sesame seeds, sliced green onion, crushed peanuts
Instructions
- Heat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Trim the stem ends, slice sprouts in half, and remove any sad outer leaves.
- Toss sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Roast cut side down until browned and crisp on the edges, about 20-25 minutes.
- Make the honey sriracha sauce while they roast by stirring together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, and rice vinegar or lime juice in a small bowl.
- Toss roasted sprouts with the sauce and roast for an additional 3-5 minutes to set the glaze.
Notes
For extra crispiness, ensure Brussels sprouts are dry after washing and don’t overcrowd the pan when roasting.
