Description

Crispy Brussels sprouts coated in a sweet and spicy honey sriracha glaze, perfect as a veggie side dish that everyone will love.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, fresh, firm, and bright green
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1-2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 2 cloves garlic, fresh minced or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari)
  • Optional: sesame seeds, sliced green onion, crushed peanuts

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Trim the stem ends, slice sprouts in half, and remove any sad outer leaves.
  3. Toss sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Roast cut side down until browned and crisp on the edges, about 20-25 minutes.
  5. Make the honey sriracha sauce while they roast by stirring together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, and rice vinegar or lime juice in a small bowl.
  6. Toss roasted sprouts with the sauce and roast for an additional 3-5 minutes to set the glaze.

Notes

For extra crispiness, ensure Brussels sprouts are dry after washing and don’t overcrowd the pan when roasting.
