Description

Quick and fun snack perfect for parties, combining ham, cream cheese, and crunchy dill pickles for a savory bite.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 8-12 slices Deli ham slices (Thin sliced works best.)
  • 8 oz Cream cheese (Softened for easy spreading.)
  • 2 whole Dill pickles (Crisp whole pickles, not sweet or spears.)

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Garlic powder (For extra flavor.)
  • 1 tsp Onion powder (For flavor enhancement.)
  • 1 tsp Dried dill (Optional addition.)
  • 1 tsp Black pepper (For added flavor.)
  • 1 dab Mustard (If you like extra tang.)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Lay a slice of ham flat on a cutting board or plate.
  2. Spread a thin, even layer of softened cream cheese over the ham.
  3. Pat the dill pickle dry with a paper towel.
  4. Place the pickle at one end of the ham and roll it up snugly.
  5. Slice into bite-size rounds, usually cutting each roll into about 6 to 8 pieces.
  6. Chill for 15 to 30 minutes for cleaner slices, then serve.

Notes

Can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge. Keep for 2-3 days. Avoid using wet pickles and overfilling with cream cheese.
