These chewy and satisfying No-Bake Protein Bars are quick to prepare and perfect for meal prep, providing a filling snack option without the need for cooking.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Protein powder, any type (Use your preferred flavor.)
  • 1 cup Rolled oats (Provides chew and structure.)
  • 0.5 cup Nut butter (peanut or almond) (Adds creaminess and binding.)
  • 0.33 cup Honey or maple syrup (Used for sweetness and stickiness.)
  • 1 pinch Salt (Enhances flavor.)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract (Optional but highly recommended.)
  • as needed Mix-ins (mini chocolate chips, chopped nuts, shredded coconut, or dried fruit) (Customize to your taste.)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, protein powder, and salt.
  3. Add the nut butter and honey or maple syrup. Stir until clumping begins.
  4. Incorporate vanilla and any chosen mix-ins. Adjust with milk if the mixture is too dry.
  5. Firmly press the mixture into the lined pan. Ensure it is packed tightly for clean slices.
  6. Chill for at least 1 to 2 hours in the refrigerator, then lift out and cut into bars.

Notes

For the best texture, press the mixture firmly, and chill before slicing. Experiment with different protein powders and mix-ins for variety. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
