Description

A simple and reliable method for cooking sweet and tender corn on the cob in under 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 4 ears Fresh corn on the cob (Use as many ears as you desire.)
  • Water (Enough to cover the corn.)
  • Salt (Optional, for the water or after cooking.)
  • Butter (For serving.)

Instructions

Cooking Method

  1. Fill a large pot about two thirds full with water. Bring it to a rolling boil.
  2. Add the corn. If the ears are not fully submerged, you can rotate them once halfway through.
  3. Boil for 3 to 6 minutes, depending on freshness.
  4. Remove the corn with tongs and let it drip dry for a few seconds.
  5. Serve immediately with butter and salt, or your favorite toppings.

Notes

For best results, use very fresh corn and avoid overcooking. Salt after cooking for peak sweetness.
