  • 4-6 cloves Garlic, minced (Fresh garlic is best.)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger, minced (Optional, adds brightness.)
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch (For thickening the sauce, optional.)
  • 1-2 tablespoons Lime or lemon juice (For acidity at the end.)
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes (Optional, for heat.)

For Garnish

  • 2 tablespoons Green onions, chopped (Optional, for freshness.)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.

Cook Shrimp

  1. Heat oil and a small pat of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Sear shrimp in a single layer for about 1 to 2 minutes per side until they turn pink and are just cooked.

Make the Sauce

  1. Stir together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger (if using).
