- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (Such as walnuts or pecans.)

Instructions
Preparation and Baking
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter (or oil), sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Stir in cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
- Fold in the shredded zucchini. The batter will look thick at first.
- Add chocolate chips or nuts if desired, and stir gently.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for about 25 to 35 minutes. A toothpick should come out with moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool before slicing to get neat squares.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate. They can be frozen for up to 2 months. These brownies taste even better the next day.
