- 2 cloves Garlic, minced (Or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)
- 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika (Optional, adds great flavor)
- Chopped parsley or chives (Optional, for freshness)
- Oil or cooking spray for the pan

Preparation
- In a big bowl, add ground chicken, cottage cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, seasonings, and any herbs or parmesan you are using. Mix with a fork first, then use your hands. It should look a little sticky but still hold together.
- Let it sit for 3 minutes to help the breadcrumbs absorb moisture for easier shaping.
- Shape the mixture into 6 to 8 patties depending on your preferred size, pressing them to an even thickness.
Cooking
- Cook in a skillet over medium heat, air fryer, or oven until the center reaches 165°F. If you don’t have a thermometer, cut one open; juices should run clear and the inside shouldn’t look pink.
- Rest patties for a couple of minutes to retain juices before serving.
Notes
Ground chicken can be delicate; do not overmix the patty mixture. Keep consistency of patties uniform to ensure even cooking. Adjust cooking methods based on personal preference.
