- 1 cup Plain nonfat Greek yogurt (Base for the dressing.)
- 1 cup Celery, diced small (For crunch.)
- 1/2 cup Green onion or red onion, thin sliced
- 2 tablespoons Dill (fresh or dried) (Fresh is recommended.)
- 2 tablespoons Parsley or chives (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice (For a tangy flavor.)
Optional add ins
- 1 cup Diced cucumber (For extra crunch.)
- 1/2 cup Pickles, diced (Tiny dice recommended.)
- 1/2 cup Chopped turkey bacon or real bacon (Adjust according to dietary goals.)
Instructions
Preparation
- Chop or shred your cooked chicken into bite-size pieces.
- Dice celery and slice green onion.
- Mix the Greek yogurt ranch dressing in a large bowl.
- Add chicken and veggies to the bowl and stir until everything is coated.
- Taste and adjust salt, pepper, dill, and lemon.
- Chill for 15 to 30 minutes if you have time. It gets better after it sits a bit.
Notes
For meal prep, store the salad in airtight containers. Pack crunchy add-ons separately to maintain texture. Use cooled chicken to prevent the dressing from melting.
