Ingredients

Units Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1-2 cans Crescent roll dough (Use as many cans as needed based on the number of servings.)
  • 8 oz Deli ham (Thin sliced ham works best.)
  • 8 oz Cheese (Swiss, cheddar, provolone, or Havarti are good choices.)
  • 3 tablespoons Butter (Melted, for the glaze base.)
  • 2 tablespoons Honey (For sweetness in the glaze.)
  • 1.5 tablespoons Dijon mustard (Can substitute yellow mustard.)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder (Optional, for added flavor.)
  • 1 teaspoon Poppy seeds (Optional, for garnish.)
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder (Optional, for added flavor.)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. Place a piece of ham on the wide end of the dough triangle; fold or tear it to fit.
  4. Add a slice of cheese, tearing it into smaller rectangles if necessary.
  5. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, tucking the tip underneath to seal.
  6. Arrange the rolled crescent shapes seam side down on the baking sheet, giving them space.
  7. Brush the tops with honey mustard glaze before placing them in the oven.

Baking

  1. Bake for 10 to 13 minutes or until they are golden brown on top.

Notes

These rolls can be made ahead of time. Assemble and refrigerate before baking, and brush the glaze just before baking. Serve warm for the best texture.
