Description

Crunchy, baked tortilla chips shaped like ghosts and bats, perfect for a festive Halloween snack without the mess of frying.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 medium Flour or corn tortillas (Medium or large size)
  • 2 tablespoons Oil (Olive oil, avocado oil, or vegetable oil)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (To taste)

Optional Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Taco seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon sugar

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tortillas into ghost and bat shapes using cookie cutters, scissors, or a knife.
  3. Brush a thin layer of oil on both sides of the cut tortillas.
  4. Sprinkle salt and any additional seasonings on the tortillas.

Baking

  1. Arrange the tortillas on a sheet pan in one layer.
  2. Bake for 6 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through. Watch closely to avoid burning.
  3. Let the chips cool on the pan for a few minutes to crisp up.

Notes

Store baked chips in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days. For added crispness, reheat in the oven. Customize seasoning based on preference.
