Description

A refreshing and easy fruit salad made with creamy dressing, perfect for potlucks, BBQs, and brunch gatherings.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 cups seedless grapes, a mix of red and green (Use firm grapes for best texture.)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened (Ensure cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth mixture.)
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt or vanilla yogurt (Adjust sweetness based on yogurt choice.)
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar or honey, adjust to taste (Taste for sweetness before adding.)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (Substitute with sunflower seeds for nut allergies.)
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons brown sugar for topping (Add topping right before serving.)
  • a pinch salt (Optional, to enhance sweetness.)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Wash the grapes and dry them really well to prevent the dressing from becoming runny.
  2. In a big bowl, stir the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Add yogurt, sugar or honey, and vanilla. Mix until creamy and uniform.
  4. Fold in the grapes gently to avoid smashing them.
  5. In a small bowl, mix chopped nuts with brown sugar.
  6. Sprinkle the topping over the salad right before serving for the best crunch.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 2 to 3 days for best texture. Keep topping separate until serving. This salad can be made ahead for better flavor.
