Description
A refreshing and easy fruit salad made with creamy dressing, perfect for potlucks, BBQs, and brunch gatherings.
Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 4 to 5 cups seedless grapes, a mix of red and green (Use firm grapes for best texture.)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened (Ensure cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth mixture.)
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt or vanilla yogurt (Adjust sweetness based on yogurt choice.)
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar or honey, adjust to taste (Taste for sweetness before adding.)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (Substitute with sunflower seeds for nut allergies.)
- 2 to 3 tablespoons brown sugar for topping (Add topping right before serving.)
- a pinch salt (Optional, to enhance sweetness.)
Instructions
Preparation
- Wash the grapes and dry them really well to prevent the dressing from becoming runny.
- In a big bowl, stir the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Add yogurt, sugar or honey, and vanilla. Mix until creamy and uniform.
- Fold in the grapes gently to avoid smashing them.
- In a small bowl, mix chopped nuts with brown sugar.
- Sprinkle the topping over the salad right before serving for the best crunch.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 2 to 3 days for best texture. Keep topping separate until serving. This salad can be made ahead for better flavor.
