  • 2 pieces Salmon fillets (skin on or off) (Use fresh or frozen salmon, thawed overnight if frozen.)
  • 4 tablespoons Butter (Salted or unsalted, adjust salt accordingly.)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (Fresh minced garlic is best.)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice (Plus a few lemon slices if desired.)
  • to taste Salt (Use to taste.)
  • to taste Black pepper (Use to taste.)

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Parsley (For garnish.)
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika (Adds warmth and color.)
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes (For a tiny kick.)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (Optional, brightens flavor.)


Instructions

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Line a baking dish or sheet pan with foil or parchment for easy cleanup.
  3. Pat the salmon dry with paper towels.
  4. Place salmon in the pan and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top and add lemon slices if desired.

Baking
