Instructions
Prepare Strawberries and Cream
- Wash strawberries quickly and dry them very well.
- Slice strawberries into bite-sized pieces, mixing slices and chunks.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk.
- Add Mexican crema or sour cream to the milk mixture and whisk until smooth.
- Mix in vanilla extract and a tiny pinch of salt, adjusting sweetness based on the strawberries.
Combine and Chill
- Gently fold the strawberries into the cream mixture or layer them in clear cups.
- Chill for 15 to 30 minutes before serving for a better texture.
