A cool and crunchy salad perfect for hot days, combining fresh cucumbers and onions in a sweet and tangy vinegar dressing.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 to 3 medium Cucumbers
  • 1 small Onion (half to 1, depending on preference)
  • 1/2 cup Vinegar (white or apple cider)
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Water (optional, for softening vinegar bite)
  • Fresh dill (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice your cucumbers and onions.
  2. Mix the dressing in the bottom of a bowl until the sugar and salt dissolve.
  3. Toss everything together.
  4. Chill it for at least 20 to 30 minutes if possible, then toss again and serve.

Notes

For best texture, slice cucumbers into thin coins and onions into thin slices. Marinate for at least 30 minutes for optimal flavor.
