Description

These quick and easy Cinnamon Sugar Biscuit Bites are soft in the middle, buttery on the outside, and coated in a sweet cinnamon sugar mixture, making them an irresistible treat.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can Refrigerated biscuit dough (Can use regular or buttermilk style.)
  • 1/2 cup Butter (Melted, for coating.)
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar (For coating.)
  • 1 tbsp Ground cinnamon (Star flavor.)
  • 1 pinch Salt (Optional, enhances sweetness.)

Optional Extras

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract (Can add to melted butter.)
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar (Mix with white sugar for extra flavor.)
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg (For a holiday flavor.)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Open the biscuit dough and cut each round into 4 pieces using kitchen scissors or a knife.

Baking

  1. Spread the biscuit pieces on the prepared baking sheet with some space between each piece.
  2. Bake for about 10 to 14 minutes until puffed and lightly golden.

Coating

  1. Melt butter in a bowl and mix sugar and cinnamon in another bowl or a zip-top bag.
  2. Let the baked biscuit bites cool for 2 minutes, then toss them in melted butter and coat in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  3. Serve warm for the best texture.

Notes

For extra coating, consider second tossing them in cinnamon sugar after the first coat sets. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
