Description

Quick and easy air fryer banana chips coated with cinnamon sugar, perfect for a crunchy snack.

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 2 pieces firm bananas (Use bananas that are yellow and firm with a few brown freckles.)
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons cinnamon (Use according to personal preference.)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sugar (Can use white or light brown sugar.)
  • 1 teaspoon neutral oil (Optional, helps with crispiness.)
  • pinch salt (Enhances flavor.)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Preheat your air fryer for 2 to 3 minutes if needed.
  2. Slice the bananas into even rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Mix the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Add a pinch of salt.
  4. Lightly oil the banana slices, either by tossing them or brushing them with oil.
  5. Evenly coat the banana slices with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  6. Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

Cooking

  1. Air fry at 300°F for 10 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  2. Check at 8 minutes to prevent over-browning, especially with thicker slices.
  3. Let the chips cool for 5 to 10 minutes to crisp up.

Notes

For extra crispy chips, keep the coating light and allow them to cool completely. Store in an airtight container with a paper towel to absorb moisture.
