Description

A fresh and delightful fall-inspired fruit salad combining crisp apples, juicy grapes, and a creamy cinnamon dressing, perfect for potlucks and holiday dinners.

Ingredients

Fresh Ingredients

  • 2-3 pieces Crisp apples (Honeycrisp preferred), chopped (Use firm apples to avoid mushiness.)
  • 2 cups Seedless grapes, halved (Use a mix of red and green if desired.)

Dressing Ingredients

  • 1 cup Vanilla Greek yogurt (Can substitute with plain yogurt and add honey.)
  • 2-3 tablespoons Honey or maple syrup (Adjust sweetness to taste.)
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon (Add more if you love cinnamon.)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice (Prevents browning and adds flavor.)

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 tablespoon Chia seeds or poppy seeds (For added texture.)
  • 1/3 cup Chopped pecans or walnuts (Optional for added crunch.)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Wash and dry the grapes, then slice them in half.
  2. Chop the apples into bite-sized chunks, leaving the peel on for added color and texture.
  3. In a small bowl, stir together the Greek yogurt, honey, cinnamon, and lemon juice until smooth.
  4. Pour the dressing over the apples and grapes, then toss gently until everything is coated.
  5. Add nuts or seeds if using, and taste to adjust sweetness as needed.
  6. Chill for 20-30 minutes to enhance flavor before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. To keep apples from browning, use lemon juice efficiently.
