- 1 can cream of chicken soup (For a creamy base.)
- 12 oz wide egg noodles (Hold up better, avoid tiny noodles.)
- 3 tbsp butter (For richness.)

- 1 splash milk or cream (Optional for extra creaminess.)
Optional Add-ins
- 1 cup frozen peas (Stir in at the end.)

- 1 cup chopped celery (Add early or later depending on desired texture.)
- 1 handful spinach (Stir in at the end.)
- 1 pinch thyme (For added flavor.)
Instructions
Preparation
- Add chicken to the slow cooker. Sprinkle on onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, and a little salt.
- Pour in chicken broth. Add cream of chicken soup and a few tablespoons of butter on top.
- Cover and cook until the chicken is very tender.
- Shred the chicken right in the slow cooker, then add egg noodles and cook until noodles are just tender.
- Taste, adjust seasoning, and if you want it creamier, add a splash of milk or cream.
Notes
For best texture, add noodles in the last 20 to 35 minutes. Adjust thickness by adding broth or leaving the lid off to thicken.
