Description

A refreshing and easy salad with sweet strawberries, tangy feta, crunchy pecans, and a bright balsamic dressing, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Salad Ingredients

  • 4 cups Baby spinach, fresh and dry (Make sure to wash and dry well.)
  • 1 cup Strawberries, sliced (Choose bright, firm strawberries.)
  • 1 cup Blueberries (Optional but adds great flavor.)
  • 1/2 cup Pecans, toasted (Toast in a dry pan for 3-5 minutes.)
  • 1/2 cup Feta cheese, crumbled (Can use goat cheese or shaved parmesan as alternatives.)
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic vinaigrette (Homemade or store-bought.)

Optional Add-ins

  • 1/4 cup Red onion, thinly sliced (For added flavor.)
  • 1 each Avocado, sliced (For creaminess.)
  • 1 each Cucumber, sliced (For extra crunch.)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Wash and dry the baby spinach thoroughly.
  2. Slice the strawberries and pat them lightly with a paper towel if they are juicy.
  3. Toast the pecans in a dry pan for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring often. Let them cool.

Assembly

  1. Add the spinach to a large bowl or platter.
  2. Scatter the strawberries, blueberries, feta, and pecans on top.
  3. Drizzle with dressing just before serving and toss gently, or leave it layered for presentation.

Notes

Keep the dressing separate until serving to maintain freshness. If storing, use a paper towel in the container to absorb moisture.
