- 1 cup BBQ sauce (Your favorite kind, plus extra for serving.)
- 1 squeeze Lemon (Optional, for brightness.)
- 1 splash Apple cider vinegar (Optional, for brightness.)
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your grill to medium heat with one side hotter for searing.
- Pat chicken dry and coat lightly with olive oil.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
Cooking
- Sear chicken on the hotter side of the grill for a few minutes on each side until grill marks appear.
- Move chicken to the cooler side of the grill and close the lid to cook gently until nearly done.
- Brush BBQ sauce on the chicken during the last few minutes of cooking.
- Remove from grill and let the chicken rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
