  • 2 fillets Salmon fillets (skin on or off both work)
  • 1 round Boursin Garlic and Fine Herbs cheese (One small round is perfect)
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil or melted butter
  • to taste Salt and black pepper (Boursin is salty, so go easy with added salt)
  • 1 clove Garlic (Optional if you want it extra garlicky)
  • 1 Lemon (Zest or juice, your call)

Optional add-ins

  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Spinach
  • Sliced green onions
  • Fresh dill


Instructions

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a pan with parchment or foil.
  2. Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel.
  3. Place the salmon in the baking dish and drizzle a little olive oil or melted butter.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Spread Boursin over each fillet.
  6. Add any optional ingredients like tomatoes or spinach.

Cooking

  1. Bake the salmon until it flakes easily, about 10-16 minutes depending on thickness.
  2. Finish with lemon juice or fresh herbs if desired before serving.
