- 1/2 cup Dried cranberries or raisins (Optional for a little chewy sweetness.)
- 1/2 cup Shaved Parmesan or crumbled feta (Optional for a salty bite.)
For the Dressing
- 1/4 cup Olive oil (Use extra virgin for best flavor.)
- 3 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice (Adjust to taste.)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (Provides sharpness to the dressing.)
- 1 tablespoon Honey or maple syrup (For sweetness.)

Instructions
Preparation
- Shred your Brussels sprouts and toss them into a large bowl.
- Cut the apples into thin matchsticks or slices and add them to the bowl.
- Add the nuts and any optional extras like dried cranberries or cheese.
Dressing
- In a jar, combine olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, honey or maple syrup, salt, and pepper.
- Shake well to combine and taste. Adjust seasoning as needed.
Combine
- Pour the vinaigrette over the slaw and toss well.
- Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes before serving for best flavor.
Notes
For maximum crunch, dry the Brussels sprouts well before dressing. Dress right before serving, and slice apples just before eating to prevent browning.
