Crispy and juicy salmon cubes paired with a creamy bang bang sauce, perfect for a quick dinner or appetizer.

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Salmon Bites

  • 1 lb Salmon, cut into 1 inch cubes (Fresh or fully thawed frozen salmon.)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil (Helps seasoning stick and browning.)
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Salt (Can reduce for lower sodium.)
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch (Optional, adds crispiness.)

For the Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Mayo (Dairy free if using dairy free mayo.)
  • 1/4 cup Sweet chili sauce (Check label for gluten-free.)
  • 1-2 tbsp Sriracha (Adjust heat to preference.)
  • 1 tsp Lime juice (Keeps the sauce light.)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Pat the salmon dry before cutting into 1 inch cubes.
  2. Toss the salmon cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and cornstarch if using. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. For the bang bang sauce, mix mayo, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice in a bowl. Adjust seasonings to taste.

Cooking

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
  2. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or use parchment paper.
  3. Place salmon cubes in a single layer in the basket without overcrowding.
  4. Air fry for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  5. Let salmon bites rest for a minute before serving with bang bang sauce.

Notes

If you want thinner sauce for drizzling, add water to desired consistency. You can serve them in rice bowls, salads, or tacos for a versatile meal.
