Description

A warm, comforting bowl of Miso Soup made with miso paste, tofu, seaweed, and more. Perfect for rainy evenings or when you need a quick meal.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Miso paste (White miso for mild flavor, red for a saltier taste.)
  • 1/2 cup Soft tofu (Cut into small cubes.)
  • 1/4 cup Dried seaweed (Wakame is the easiest to find.)
  • 2 stalks Green onions (Sliced thinly.)
  • 4 cups Dashi stock (Vegetable broth can be used as a substitute.)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Pour dashi or vegetable broth into a pot and heat until hot but not boiling.
  2. In a separate bowl, scoop some hot broth and stir in the miso paste until smooth. Return the mixture to the pot.
  3. Add tofu, seaweed, and green onions into the pot, stir gently, and heat for one minute.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to two days. Reheat gently, avoiding boiling to preserve flavor and texture.
