Cheese Sauce

  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese (Use real cheese for best texture)
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese (Use real cheese for best texture)
  • 0.5 cup Cream cheese (Melt over low heat for a smooth sauce)
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream (Combine with cream cheese)
  • 0.5 cup Milk (Helps achieve a smooth consistency)

Seasonings

  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder (Enhances flavor)
  • 0.5 tsp Onion powder (Enhances flavor)
  • to taste Salt and pepper (Adjust to preference)

For Serving

  • 1 bag Tortilla chips (For dipping)

Instructions

Cooking the Meat

  1. Grab a skillet, heat it over medium, and cook the ground beef until it’s browned and juicy. Drain off any excess fat.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined. Set aside.

Making the Cheese Sauce

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the cream cheese over low heat until creamy.
  2. Stir in the sour cream and milk. Keep stirring until silky smooth.
  3. Gradually add shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses to the sauce, letting each addition melt completely before adding more.

Combining and Serving

  1. Fold the cooked beef and crumbled bacon into the cheesy mixture. Stir until everything is evenly distributed.
  2. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl while still hot. Serve with tortilla chips.

Notes

For best flavor, serve hot with tortilla chips. Add sliced pickles or diced tomatoes for contrast.
