Quick and cheesy sliders made with soft Hawaiian rolls, perfect for parties or a cozy night in.
Ingredients
For the sliders
- 1 pack soft Hawaiian rolls (12 count) (Sliced horizontally as one piece)
- 8-12 slices cheese (Cheddar, Colby Jack, American, Swiss, Mozzarella) (Mix and match according to preference)
For the buttery topping
- 4 tablespoons butter (Melted)
- to taste shakes garlic powder
- to taste shakes onion powder
- to taste pinch salt (Only if using unsalted butter)
- to taste optional dried herbs (parsley or Italian seasoning)
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Keep the rolls connected and slice the whole slab in half horizontally.
- Place the bottom sheet in a baking dish.
- Layer cheese slices evenly on the bottom half of the rolls.
- Put the top sheet of rolls back on.
- Mix melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, and herbs, then brush it all over the tops.
Baking
- Cover the dish loosely with foil and bake for about 10 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake another 5 to 8 minutes until the tops are golden.
- Let them sit for 2 minutes, then slice along the roll lines and serve.
Notes
For extra crispy tops, bake uncovered the last few minutes, but watch closely to prevent burning. Allow to rest before slicing to keep layers intact.
