Description

A refreshing and healthy slushie made with frozen pineapple and strawberries, perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

For the Pineapple Layer

  • 2 cups Frozen pineapple (Fresh pineapple can be used as a substitute.)
  • 1 cup Coconut water (Can also use orange juice or plain water.)

For the Strawberry Layer

  • 2 cups Frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup Coconut water (Optional for ingredient.)
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice (Just a squeeze to enhance flavors.)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (Can substitute with coconut yogurt for dairy-free.)

Optional Sweetener

  • 1 tablespoon Honey (Can substitute with maple syrup or dates.)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Blend the pineapple layer: Add frozen pineapple and a splash of coconut water or orange juice to the blender. Blend until thick and smooth.
  2. Pour pineapple into a bowl: Set it aside. Optionally, chill it in the freezer while you prepare the strawberry layer.
  3. Blend the strawberry layer: In the blender, add frozen strawberries, a splash of liquid, lime juice, and Greek yogurt if using. Blend until thick.
  4. Build the swirl: Spoon the pineapple layer into serving glasses, add a spoon of the strawberry layer, then repeat. Use a knife or straw to gently swirl.
  5. Taste and adjust: If needed, add a drizzle of honey to the slush and mix.

Notes

Serve immediately for the best texture. Optionally rim glasses with lime and fresh fruit for presentation.
