Ingredients

  • 1 cup Green olives, pitted (Castelvetrano or Manzanilla recommended)
  • 1 cup Feta cheese, block (Creamier and less dry compared to crumbles)
  • 4 oz Cream cheese (Softened for easy mixing)
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt or sour cream (For tang and softness)
  • 1 clove Garlic (Fresh or roasted, depending on preference)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice (Freshly squeezed for best flavor)
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest (For extra brightness)
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil (A drizzle for flavor)
  • to taste Black pepper (For additional seasoning)
  • pinch Chili flakes (Optional for heat)

Fresh Herbs & Spices

  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley (Adds a clean taste)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh dill (For a Greek flavor)
  • 1 tbsp Chives (Adds a mild onion flavor)
  • to taste Crushed red pepper (Optional for heat)
  • pinch Smoked paprika (Optional, for extra flavor)

Optional Additions

  • 1/4 cup Chopped walnuts or pistachios (For added crunch)


Instructions

Preparation

  1. Let the cream cheese sit out for 10 to 15 minutes to soften.
  2. Chop the olives; pulse them in a food processor if you prefer them finely chopped.
  3. In a mixing bowl, add cream cheese, feta, yogurt or sour cream, garlic, lemon juice, and black pepper. Blend or mash until creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning with more lemon, pepper, or olive oil if needed.
  5. Fold in the herbs if using them for a fresher taste.
  6. Chill for 20 to 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.

Notes

For best flavor, use quality ingredients. Allow the dip to rest for a while before serving. Adjust acidity and salt to your taste before serving.
