Description

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter (Softened)
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (Use semi-sweet or your preference)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (For finishing)


Instructions

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and chocolate chips.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto a greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are firm.
  8. Allow to cool, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Store at room temperature in an airtight container for 2 days; refrigerate for up to 4 days. Freeze for up to 2 months. If refrigerated, let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving.
