These Mini Grilled Cheese Hawaiian Rolls are a quick and fun way to satisfy hunger with cheesy comfort and a crispy golden top.
Ingredients
For the Sliders
- 1 pack King’s Hawaiian rolls (12 count) (Standard pack for sliders.)
- 8 slices Cheese slices (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or mozzarella) (Use a mix for best flavor and melt.)
- 4 tablespoons Butter, salted (Melted for brushing.)
- 1 clove Garlic, minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder) (For the garlic herb butter.)
- 1-2 teaspoons Dried herbs (parsley or Italian seasoning) (Add for flavor.)
- 1 pinch Salt (Optional, to taste.)
- 1 pinch Black pepper (Optional, to taste.)
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Keep the rolls connected and slice the whole slab in half horizontally.
- Place the bottom half on a lined baking sheet.
- Layer cheese evenly on the bottom half.
- Replace the top half of the rolls.
- Brush generously with melted garlic herb butter.
Baking
- Bake for 12 to 16 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
- Let them sit for 2 to 3 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For maximum crunch, consider the ‘thirds’ method of slicing the rolls for a double-decker grilled cheese effect. Use enough cheese for good coverage and brush butter on the edges for extra crispiness.
