Description

A crispy, flavorful air-fried cauliflower dish that makes for a satisfying snack or side dish, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower (About 5 to 6 cups florets)
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil (Adjust based on preference)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (Regular or smoked)
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt (Start with this amount and adjust later)
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Optional Seasonings

  • 2-3 tablespoons grated parmesan (For added flavor after cooking)
  • buffalo sauce (For tossing after cooking)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Pull off the outer leaves and trim the bottom of the stem of the cauliflower.
  2. Slice the cauliflower in half through the core, then slice each half into quarters.
  3. Cut out the thick core piece, then break or cut into bite-sized florets.
  4. Pat the florets dry to remove excess moisture.

Cooking

  1. Preheat your air fryer for 3 minutes if necessary.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil and seasonings until evenly coated.
  3. Place the cauliflower in the air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
  4. Air fry at 390°F for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  5. Check for golden edges and tenderness; adjust salt if needed.

Serving

  1. Sprinkle with parmesan if desired right after cooking while the bites are hot.
  2. Alternatively, toss in buffalo sauce and return to the air fryer for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.

Notes

Best served immediately for optimal crispiness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for best results.
