Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 1 medium head cauliflower (About 5 to 6 cups florets)
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil (Adjust based on preference)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika (Regular or smoked)
- 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.75 teaspoon salt (Start with this amount and adjust later)
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
Optional Seasonings
- 2-3 tablespoons grated parmesan (For added flavor after cooking)
- buffalo sauce (For tossing after cooking)
Instructions
Preparation
- Pull off the outer leaves and trim the bottom of the stem of the cauliflower.
- Slice the cauliflower in half through the core, then slice each half into quarters.
- Cut out the thick core piece, then break or cut into bite-sized florets.
- Pat the florets dry to remove excess moisture.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer for 3 minutes if necessary.
- In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil and seasonings until evenly coated.
- Place the cauliflower in the air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
- Air fry at 390°F for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Check for golden edges and tenderness; adjust salt if needed.
Serving
- Sprinkle with parmesan if desired right after cooking while the bites are hot.
- Alternatively, toss in buffalo sauce and return to the air fryer for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
Notes
Best served immediately for optimal crispiness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for best results.
