Quick and festive no-bake Rice Krispies Treats shaped like Easter eggs, perfect for any celebration or school treat.

Main ingredients
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal or any crispy rice cereal
- 10 oz Mini marshmallows (Using mini marshmallows helps them melt faster.)
- 3 tablespoons Butter (Salted is fine, unsalted works too.)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract (Optional, but enhances the flavor.)
- 1 pinch Salt (Optional, helpful if using unsalted butter.)
- 12 oz Candy melts for decorating (Pastels are perfect for Easter.)
- Sprinkles, mini eggs, or edible glitter (Any fun toppings to decorate.)
Instructions
Preparation
- Melt butter in a large pot on low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir until smooth, keeping heat low.
- Stir in vanilla and a tiny pinch of salt, if using.
- Turn off the heat, then fold in Rice Krispies cereal until fully coated.
- Let the mixture sit for about 2 minutes to cool slightly.
- Shape the mixture into egg shapes using molds or greased hands.
- Let the eggs set for 20 to 30 minutes before decorating.
Decorating
- Drizzle melted candy melts on top in zigzag patterns.
- Dip the bottoms of the eggs in melted chocolate or candy melts, then add sprinkles immediately.
- Make ‘speckled eggs’ by flicking melted chocolate onto the surface.
- Place a mini egg on top while the drizzle is still wet.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature. Keeps well for 1-2 days. Can freeze wrapped in plastic for up to 4 weeks.
