Description

These festive cranberry cream cheese crescent bites are easy to make and perfect for holiday parties, combining creamy, tangy, and sweet flavors in a flaky pastry.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 tube Crescent roll dough (The kind that comes in a tube)
  • 8 oz Cream cheese (Softened)
  • 1/2 cup Cranberry sauce (Homemade or canned)
  • 2 tbsp Powdered sugar (Optional for topping)

Optional Add-Ins

  • 1 tbsp Orange zest (For extra flavor)
  • 1/2 cup Pecans (Chopped)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract (For richer flavor)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Unroll the crescent dough on a floured counter.
  2. Smear a dollop of softened cream cheese in each triangle’s wide end.
  3. Spoon on a bit of cranberry sauce (don’t overdo it).
  4. Roll the triangles up starting on the fat side and smoosh the edges to seal.
  5. Move to a baking tray and pop them in a hot oven until golden, about 10 minutes.
  6. Let them cool juuuust enough not to burn your tongue.

Notes

Assemble bites ahead of time and refrigerate or freeze for stress-free hosting. Don’t over-stuff to prevent filling leaks, and use parchment paper for easy cleanup. Bake from frozen with extra time.
