- 4 oz cream cheese (Let it soften for better mixing.)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (Adjust to taste.)
- 1 tablespoon dill (Substitute for chives if desired.)
- 1 teaspoon salt (Taste and adjust as needed.)
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper (Freshly ground is best.)
Sandwich Ingredients
- 2 pieces croissants (Lightly toasted enhances flavor.)
- 2 leaves lettuce
- 4 slices tomato

Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the cooked crab meat, cream cheese, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Slice the croissants in half.
Assembly
- Spread a generous amount of the crab mixture on the bottom half of each croissant.
- Top with lettuce and tomato slices.
- Place the top half of the croissant back on and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Store leftover crab filling in an airtight container for up to two days. Restructure assembled sandwiches to keep them crisp.
