- 8 ounces pasta (Short pasta shapes like penne or shells work best.)
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets (Adjust the amount as desired.)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream (Can substitute with half and half for a lighter version.)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (Freshly grated works best.)

Instructions
Cook the Pasta
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sauté Garlic and Broccoli
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli florets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until tender.
Prepare the Sauce
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Gradually add the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
Combine and Serve
- Mix in the cooked pasta, season with salt and pepper to taste, and stir until everything is well combined.
- Serve hot, topped with parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
Let leftovers cool to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove with a splash of milk or cream to restore creaminess.
