- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly oil your baking dish.
- Slice the peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Keep the slices thin.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and pound to even thickness if necessary.
- Mix olive oil, salt, and spices, and rub onto the chicken.
- Toss the sliced vegetables with olive oil and a pinch of salt.
Cooking
- Layer the vegetables in the baking dish and nestle the seasoned chicken on top.
- Pour the broth around the edges.
- Bake uncovered for 18 to 22 minutes, checking that the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Top with shredded cheese and return to the oven for an additional 3 to 5 minutes until melted.
- Optional: Use the broil setting for 1 to 2 minutes to achieve golden spots on the cheese.
Serving
- Let the dish rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
Notes
For added richness, drizzle with balsamic or lemon juice before serving. You can also add cherry tomatoes in the last 10 minutes of baking for extra flavor.
