- 1/4 teaspoon Celtic sea salt (Use gray, flaky Celtic sea salt, not pale powdery type.)
- 8-12 ounces filtered water (Use cold or room temperature water.)
Optional Add-Ins
- 1 squeeze fresh lemon (For additional flavor.)
- 1 dash raw honey (To sweeten if desired.)
- 2-3 drops apple cider vinegar (Adds a tangy flavor.)
- 1 sprig fresh mint (Optional, for garnish and flavor.)
Instructions
Preparation
- Fill a regular glass with 8-12 ounces of filtered water.
- Add just a pinch (1/4 teaspoon maximum) of Celtic sea salt.
- Stir until the salt disappears, leaving a slight swirl of minerals at the bottom.
- Sip slowly, enjoying the flavors and minerals.
- Optional: Squeeze in some lemon or add other mix-ins as desired.
Notes
Alternative uses include sprinkling salt on roasted veggies, salads, or even in a bath. Store Celtic salt in a glass jar to retain flavor.
