Description

A simple method to enhance hydration and mineral intake using Celtic sea salt and filtered water.


Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon Celtic sea salt (Use gray, flaky Celtic sea salt, not pale powdery type.)
  • 8-12 ounces filtered water (Use cold or room temperature water.)

Optional Add-Ins

  • 1 squeeze fresh lemon (For additional flavor.)
  • 1 dash raw honey (To sweeten if desired.)
  • 2-3 drops apple cider vinegar (Adds a tangy flavor.)
  • 1 sprig fresh mint (Optional, for garnish and flavor.)


Instructions

Preparation

  1. Fill a regular glass with 8-12 ounces of filtered water.
  2. Add just a pinch (1/4 teaspoon maximum) of Celtic sea salt.
  3. Stir until the salt disappears, leaving a slight swirl of minerals at the bottom.
  4. Sip slowly, enjoying the flavors and minerals.
  5. Optional: Squeeze in some lemon or add other mix-ins as desired.

Notes

Alternative uses include sprinkling salt on roasted veggies, salads, or even in a bath. Store Celtic salt in a glass jar to retain flavor.
