- 30 slices Pepperoni
- 1.5 cups Pizza sauce
- 1 can Biscuit dough, refrigerated
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese (Shredded)
- 1 tbsp Olive oil (For greasing)
Spices
- 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp Fresh parsley or basil (For topping)
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the pizza sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and gently fold them into the sauce mixture.
- Add the pepperoni and half of the mozzarella cheese, stirring until well combined.
- Grease a casserole dish with olive oil and pour the mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and fresh parsley or basil.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
This casserole can be made ahead and is perfect for potlucks. Leftovers can be reheated in a toaster oven for best results. If using other proteins or veggies, feel free to swap ingredients.
