Description

A quick and comforting one-pan casserole packed with pizza flavors, perfect for busy nights.


Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 30 slices Pepperoni
  • 1.5 cups Pizza sauce
  • 1 can Biscuit dough, refrigerated
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese (Shredded)
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil (For greasing)

Spices

  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley or basil (For topping)


Instructions

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the pizza sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and gently fold them into the sauce mixture.
  4. Add the pepperoni and half of the mozzarella cheese, stirring until well combined.
  5. Grease a casserole dish with olive oil and pour the mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and fresh parsley or basil.

Cooking

  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  2. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

This casserole can be made ahead and is perfect for potlucks. Leftovers can be reheated in a toaster oven for best results. If using other proteins or veggies, feel free to swap ingredients.
