- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (Can substitute with flax seeds for a nuttier flavor)
- 1-2 teaspoons psyllium husk (Optional, but increases fiber content)
- 10 ounces cold water (You can use unsweetened coconut water as a substitute)
- to taste lemon juice or honey (For added flavor)
Instructions
Preparation
- Pour the tablespoon of chia seeds into a mason jar or tall glass.
- Add the psyllium husk if using.
- Fill with the chosen liquid and start stirring immediately to prevent clumping.
- Let it sit for at least 10 minutes (20 minutes is ideal) for it to thicken.
- Stir again to distribute the mixture before consumption.
Consumption
- Drink it slowly, rather than in one gulp.
Notes
Always drink the seed mix with a full glass of water. Start with a smaller amount of seeds if you’re a beginner to avoid discomfort.
