Description

A quick and easy snack of crispy, melty Babybel cheese, perfect for any time cravings or gatherings.


Ingredients

For the coating

  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper to taste

For the main ingredients

  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour
  • 10 pieces Babybel cheese, rounds (Use the small waxed Babybels and remove wax before using.)
  • Olive oil spray Olive oil spray (Lightly spray to coat)
  • 1 tbsp Chopped parsley, smoked (Smoked parsley gives a nice flavor.)


Instructions

Preparation

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the flour in another shallow bowl.
  4. Dip each Babybel cheese round into the flour, shaking off excess, then into the seasoning mixture, and finally spray lightly with olive oil.

Cooking

  1. Place the coated cheese rounds into the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  2. Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  3. Remove from the air fryer, garnish with chopped smoked parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Let the rounds rest for about 30 seconds after cooking to avoid burning fingers. Serve warm with toothpicks or alongside crackers and fruit.
