A simple morning ritual that involves drinking ice-cold water in under 7 seconds to boost metabolism and keep you hydrated.
Ingredients
For the ice water hack
- 1 large glass A big glass (Fill it mostly to the top.)
- 4-5 cubes Ice cubes (At least 4 or 5 for maximum coldness.)
- as needed glass Fresh, clean water (Cold water is essential.)
- Optional addition, but recommended for extra flavor: Lemon & Turmeric
Instructions
Preparation
- Fill your glass up, mostly to the top, with ice cubes.
- Pour cold water over the ice until it gets really chilly.
- First thing in the morning, grab the glass, take a deep breath, and chug it as fast as you can, aiming for under 7 seconds.
Notes
Best consumed first thing in the morning before coffee or brushing your teeth. Some variations include adding lemon or a pinch of salt.
